Officially the number one R&B and hip-hop DJ in Egypt, Fadi Tawfik AKA DJ Feedo kick-started his career in 1997 at Cairo’s Club Exit. Following appearances at other club nights in the city, Feedo’s fan base grew tremendously and eventually gained the attention of international DJs – as well as R&B and hip-hop fans outside of the region – earning him gigs alongside some of the biggest names in the business, including David Moreno and Trevor Nelson. Meanwhile, this talented DJ/producer also collaborated with other artists in the Arab world. In 2002, he became the official DJ for Egyptian group MTM – who were voted Best Group in the Middle East at the 2004 Arabian Music Awards, held in Dubai. He is also a member of Jaffa Phonics, a trip-hop band from Palestine. The DJ had a weekly slot on The Urban Soundtrack Show on 104.2 Nile FM on Saturdays in 2006, featuring exclusive mixes by Feedo. This year sees Feedo branching out into the Middle Eastern region. He has also made his acting debut, making a special appearance alongside Ahmed El Fishawy in (45 Days movie), which was a box-office hit in Egypt.
